TerrabiS
Role: Brand Designer + Art Direction
Scope: Brand strategy, visual identity, brand guidelines, and rollout assets
Objective: Position Terrabis as a purpose-driven, lifestyle cannabis brand. Rooted in wellness, education, and experience. The goal was to move beyond stoner stereotypes and instead reflect a mission-driven ethos that felt like Patagonia meets Midwest cannabis, calm, elevated, and human.
PROCESS
Research & Collaboration
Conducted a competitive brand audit of national and regional cannabis companies to identify whitespace and visual opportunities
Held stakeholder Q&A sessions with internal teams including founders, operations, retail, budtenders, and marketing to understand perceptions of the current brand and hopes for future positioning
Held collaborative working sessions to mood board, align on tone, and gather creative input across departments
Synthesized feedback into core brand themes that influenced design direction and messaging strategy
brand refresh
The goal was to move beyond the typical “stoner” aesthetic and build a brand that reflects the real reasons people turn to cannabis: healing, grounding, and wellbeing.
Deliverables included a full brand system, social and presentation templates, topographic-inspired accents, and a complete SharePoint brand kit with editable assets for internal teams.
